For one of our exciting SaaS clients, we are looking for a Head of Internal IT (f/m/d) to lead and scale the internal IT function in a fast-growing, technology-driven SaaS environment.

You will define strategy, build scalable operations, and ensure employees can work securely and efficiently with reliable systems and tools.

This is a permanent role, not a contract position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the internal IT team

• Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes

• Drive identity and access management (SSO, MFA, RBAC, least privilege)

• Define and enforce endpoint standards (macOS plus Windows or Linux)

• Manage the full employee hardware lifecycle

• Administer and secure internal SaaS applications

• Build scalable IT service desk processes

• Partner with Security and Engineering teams

• Manage vendors, licenses, and budgets

Requirements

• Proven experience leading Internal IT or IT Operations teams

• Strong hands-on background in IAM and endpoint management

• Solid understanding of IT service management at scale

• Security-minded, pragmatic approach

• Strong communication skills

• Authorization to work in Germany

Nice to have (not required):

• Experience with compliance or audit readiness (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2)

• Strong automation skills (scripting, APIs, workflow automation)

• Experience supporting distributed or hybrid environments

• Familiarity with security baselines (e.g. CIS) and endpoint incident workflows
