Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d)

Working model: hybrid in Munich
Salary: Depending on experience, approx. €70,000 – €100,000 p.a.

Our client is an established, growth-oriented technology company with a digital business model. Data plays a central role in improving products, internal processes and strategic decision-making.

The data team works closely with various business functions as well as technical teams and develops analytical solutions that are actively used across the company. The focus is not only on reporting, but also on building scalable data models, analytical frameworks and data-driven decision foundations.

We are looking for an analytically strong person who combines technical depth, business understanding and clear communication.

Your profile

• You bring several years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering or a comparable field
• You have very strong SQL skills and have regularly worked with relational databases or data warehouse environments
• You have experience with Python or a comparable programming language in an analytics context
• You are familiar with modern cloud data stacks and have ideally worked with AWS-based data platforms
• You have experience with data pipelines, transformations or workflow orchestration, for example with tools such as dbt, Airflow or comparable solutions
• You have experience visualising and presenting data, for example with Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools
• You are confident using common collaboration and engineering tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence or comparable solutions
• You can understand business requirements and translate them into clear analytical concepts, data models and technical solutions
• You communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You can explain your own projects clearly, from business context to technical implementation
• You work in a structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented way
• You are open to modern, AI-supported ways of working in data and analytics
• You communicate confidently in English and feel comfortable in an international working environment

• You analyse complex data from different sources and derive decision-relevant insights
• You develop data models, analytical frameworks and reusable analytics solutions
• You work with modern data warehouse, cloud and pipeline technologies
• You translate business requirements into concrete analytical and technical solutions
• You work closely with business functions, analytics colleagues and technical teams
• You present analytical results clearly for different target groups
• You support the further development of existing reporting, analytics and data processes
• You identify optimisation potential in processes, products and operational workflows
• You contribute ideas to improve data quality, analytics processes and decision-making foundations
• You use modern tools and methods to make analytics workflows more efficient and scalable
• You take ownership of data-related projects from requirements analysis through to implementation
