3D Motion Designer (Product Video & Documentation) (m/f/d)
Part-time or Full-time (24–40h/week)
Remote in Germany | Hybrid option in Berlin

For a modern, Kubernetes-based data intelligence platform used in security- and mission-critical environments, we are looking for a senior 3D Motion Designer to take full ownership of product and documentation video.

The platform processes petabyte-scale data with sub-second query performance and is delivered as B2B SaaS as well as self-hosted on-prem solutions, including air-gapped deployments. Your work will help customers and decision makers clearly understand complex capabilities.
 

The Role
You own the entire video pipeline, from concept to final delivery. Your focus is on high-quality product explainers, feature walkthroughs, and tutorials. No social media content, livestreams, or webinars.
 

What You’ll Do

• Own the full video production pipeline from brief to final delivery
• Create high-quality 3D animations integrated with real product UI footage
• Capture secure, high-quality screen recordings of complex workflows
• Define motion standards, templates, and reusable asset libraries
• Plan timelines, run reviews, and drive stakeholder sign-off

About You

• 5+ years of experience creating product videos for complex software
• Strong skills in After Effects and Cinema 4D or Blender
• Confident editing in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Comfortable writing scripts and voice-over text independently
• Self-directed, communicative, and highly security-aware

Nice to Have

• Experience with Unreal Engine or real-time visualization
• Music, sound design, and basic audio sweetening skills
• Experience working with synthetic or redacted datasets
• Built motion style guides or motion systems
• German language skills (B2+) and experience with subtitling tools
