Engineering Manager (Hands-on) – Secure Digital Platforms

Are you an Engineering Manager who loves balancing people leadership, delivery excellence, and hands-on technical impact?

We’re looking for a proactive, technically strong Engineering Manager to take ownership of a complex, security-focused platform in the identity and cybersecurity domain.

What you’ll do

• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Lead and mentor a team of ~20 engineers with a quality-first mindset
• Drive ScrumBan workflows, delivery predictability, and continuous improvement
• Take responsibility for testing strategies, release management, and production stability
• Stay hands-on: around 30% coding and technical troubleshooting, 70% leadership and process
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and senior stakeholders
• Ensure high standards across Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments

What you bring

• 10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years as an Engineering Manager
• Strong background in Java-based platforms and modern architectures
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, ScrumBan)
• Experience with quality assurance, automated testing, and release governance
• A structured, calm leadership style with the ability to scale teams and systems
• Experience in identity, security, or highly regulated environments is a strong plus
